Well, I'm doing a research project on Weather Related Motor Vehicle Accidents in California Vs. those in Washington State. I want to see if it's true what people say about California drivers and rain

California Drivers without Rain
California Drivers with Rain

I chose Washington because it sees a good share of rain.

Here's the problem... I can't find stats on weather related motor vehicle accidents. I've tried the CDC and other websites, but I can't seem to fish out the correct stats.

So, I'm asking for help If anyone has any info and stats, it would be greatly appreciated!

I dont know if I can help you with stats like that, but I do know they're hard to find. I was trying to find accident stats about young drivers to see how much worse they really were and almost all of the stats on the internet came directly from insurance companies.

I don't know how much to trust them because they are in it for profit but you could try looking to insurance companies for stats.

I don't have any stats for you but I lived in Washington for about 8 years before moving back to SoCal and my experience tells me that it's true what they say about California drivers in the rain. When the water comes down, the roads become slick, visibility gets poor, but nobody slows down. It gets scary out there.

You shoulda picked Bama.
When it even sprinkles here- every moron on the road rear ends someone.
It seems like
Rain= fleeing of common sense on the road.

There are idiot drivers everywhere. Unfortunately their actions cause disruption/injury/death not only to themselves but to innocent people on the road. These idiots only think of themselves anyway. I have noticed that I drive more reactive the older I get.

These idiots include drunks, street racers, speeding down brake down lanes, weaving in and out of traffic, old folks that dont have all there sense.

If you're one of these drivers, don't be ignorant. Just take it as criticism. My comments are made to enlighten and not to enflare.

Everyone has the right to do anything they wish, but not at the
infringement of another's freedom.
