Ok I'm thinking of getting a Hookah..not for smoking or drugs or anything like that. I'm clean as they get.
I just love the way they look.
I found an importer that gets them from egypt.
My question is.. is a Hookah considered drug paraphernalia in the way that a pipe or bong are?
I'd like to get one but the last thing i need is the cops knocking at my door.
if any police on the board could help that would be great..thanks

My understanding is that it is only paraphanalia if it contains drug residue inside it, or drugs/residue are found near it.

[img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/lol.gif[/img] Im sure theyre fine. Stores in the mall have them on display in their front windows. And theyre technically made for smoking tobacco or shisha (flavored tobacco) so theyre completely fine as long as theres no residue in it as stated earlier.

Ya, as far as i know youre allowed any kind of thing like that as long as theres no drug residue in it.
O, and i think some kinds of probation youre not allowed to carry drug and smoking paraphenalia or some crap like that.

if u get pulled over, dont let them in in the first place lol
unless ur doin 50+ over the speed limit, i wouldnt worry about driving around with it unless its in plain sight and/or it smells like that sticky icky [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif[/img]
