HD players are fine if you wear them up on your bicep to minimize the motion, but.....yeah go with the nano anyway.

 

I've got 2x 20 gig Del Juke box's Ton's of music with an AM-FM reciever as well, now I wish I had an I-pod for the videos , but I can put that on my PSP now thats cool ,psp internet/movies/pictures/games .
If the money is not too big I'd shout for a Video option as it can be a great travel companion. Good luck with your searching.
