Curfew was when the street lights turned on when we were younger then 14,carried a dime(went to a quarter then 35 cents)so you could call home on the pay phone it the stores were closed or if they wouldn't let you use their phone.......Its not long distance is it.....was the most common question when you ask to use the stores phone.

I remember when gas was 25 cents/gallon and me and my cousin used to fill up the tank and cruise around in his new 65 GTO convertible with three deuces and a Hurst four speed. Ah to be 18 again.........sometimes we'd hit McDonalds and get a few 0.15 cent hamburgers with fries......those were the days

I remember working as a bag boy for 60 cents an hour plus tips.
I remember when hamburger didn't come with different fat contents and was three pounds for a dollar. Rib steaks were 79 cents a pound.
I remember when you could not get away with putting vulgar bumper stickers on your car.
I remember when Big Daddy Don Garlits hit the amazing speed of 134MPH at the end of the quarter mile in his Chrysler powered dragster.

I can remember riding my bike to the corner store for a 10 oz Mountain Dew...17 cents.
When I got my first car, gas was 89 cents a gallon. I'd get paid about $75 a week and it felt like I was rich.
