no. by default windows only uses one.
if you go into msconfig > boot > advanced options > check mark number of processors > and set it to the max. Dont worry about the memory as it does utilize it and changing it in there, ive never been able to document an increase in performance.

I didn't know that. I changed it and rebooted. Seems faster. Maybe about 40 seconds from power switch turn on to password enter to booted.

Downloaded a stopwatch app for the phone. 42 seconds from the press of the power button to to desktop. The first 25 seconds of that is just all the bios stuff.

Mine already boots rather quickly with my ssd, buuuut I gotta try this when I get home. FASTER!!
