Ok, so i was driving home from work at 11 PM tonight and a guy in an old honda CRX pulls up next to me and revs the engine. I know its bad but i went for it anyway. So, he keeps pace iwth me the entire time, neither faster than the other. I just get off the line quicker. My question is, does an older CRX keep pace with an auto 2002 v6 stang? if so, i have some mods to do

well its possible.. there is a HUGE weight difference. Those things are like go karts with roofs basiclly. A guy I know in anniston has a heavily modded turbo one that runs 11's. So yeah if they have some mods, its very easy to see how they could keep up.

Maybe he was a better driver? B)

Fast= HP, tire compound, rear gear, and driver.

Never race on the street.

i consider myself to be a pretty good driver. i can get the auto to shift whenever i want it to. i'm not the best, but i can control my car. anyway, he might have had a manual, but that shouldnt have made a very big difference. tires looked stock, atleast the rims did.

anyway, i agree. no more racing. i promise
