Why don't you give it a shot MustangLynda
Now just exactly what is it that you don't like about me?

So. Let's talk about childbirth......Being that you're a guy you probably can't imagine what that feels like. Let me help you. Take a 10lb bowling ball and stick it up your left nostril. Yeah, you'll need something to chew on.

It's OK, I was just kidding.......

As for finding something to stump you, yeah, I misunderstood that but I figured you were kidding anyway

I think I'm better at guessing than asking. Don't have a digital camera either (yeah I know, get a life!).

It's a mill. Goldens (foundry) made several different versions. Used to mill sugar cane, and other things, to turn them to a liquid like substance. A common thing to do in GA back in the day was to put sweet potatoes and syrup in one, mill it to a liquid substance, and feed it to farm workers. Some of the pieces are missing off it.

If I am wrong, shoot me, but I'm 99% sure that's what it is.

Next......

Whoops, didn't see your post Mike. You're right, it's a mill......

I saw one of those one time, but it had 2 rollers instead of 1. They said it weighed 800 lbs. and was turned by 2 horses that walked in a circle around it. There was a big piece of iron on top of the post thing that the horses were attached to (poor things!). It apparently had an output of 70 gallons per hour!

That's a realy cool fence in the background, BTW.
