Uh.. Yea, kinda. I appreciate the tradition, but stripes just scream. "Look at me"
I'm not a fan of racing stripes, but I have to admit I think they are perfect on a 05+ tunsgten Stang. The reason being is that I've seen an all tungsten Stang and to be perfectly honest, its kind of bland. All the curves and edges blend together and the car just looks like a big smooth blob of grey. The stripes add the perfect highlight to the car and bring out the curves and edges again.

generally "rice" is referred to something cheap, cheesy, and not very well thoughtout.
Is that why they throw 'rice' at weddings???

Dave,

Don't get me wrong. I don't think striping in and of itself is rice, but when you put it on a car that isn't meant for racing in general, I think that is rice. And shelby mustangs are such a high powered specialty car, that's fine. But it's like those guys who buy V6 mustangs then install dual exhaust and put GT badges on their v6ers to look like GTs and get aftermarket dashes that simulate the IUP. That to me is also very "rice."

I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did. Nobady goes to the general screen. It was just too funny to hide it.

.....people would complain if they were hung with a dirty rope....
