No v8 swap. There's plenty of room for a V mount intercooler setup though.
Got the wheels in. Took them to my powdercoat guy who flat out refused to take them because there were too many spokes. So now I've got to hunt down someone else.

Josh, I haven't had the chance to really get into it since the car has thus far spent more time on the lift or with parts being fitted to it than actually being driven. It still has less than 300 miles on it! So far from what I have driven, its a comfortable daily driver, but also gives you a bit of "the fizz" as James May would say. Its such a surprise in a small package because you wouldn't expect so much from a 200hp Toyota. The design that was put into it shows. The roof line, the side markers, even the windshield wipers were designed with optimal airflow in mind. It really is a great looking fun car.
We're thinking about a road trip here in the near future with the FR-S, so that'll give us a lot of time to iron out any kinks we may find with the car.

Nice car! I've had my Subaru BRZ since late June. Dark gray, manual trans, premium trim level. Autocrossed it a couple of times, fun little lightweight tossable car, but it needs more torque. Badly. I feel 200 hp is adequate in a 2700 lb car, but not 150 ft-lb of torque. It has roughly the same torque to weight ratio as my (mildly modified) 1st gen Miata.
