NEW pics of the Challenger concept (Merged)
Funny thing: even though I always admired the looks of the old Challengers back in the day, I never considered myself a Mopar kind of guy. But that thing is dead sexy!
Must...have...one of each.

okay.... looks like i'm alone except for that guy.
It looks pretty sweet from the front... and the back is pretty cool too. But i really find the car unattractive from the side. The profile just doesn't do it for me! Everybody's crazy except for me!!! You guys all love it, but the car fails in the department that the mustang truly shines for me. The stang's not perfect itself, but the profile of it is probably the best part, and in my eye, probably the nicest profile of any car out there, while this thing just really looks awkward to me from the side. Am i really on my own there??
I also wonder what this thing'll look like in production form. I think the front end could be really attractive if the made it a bit less radical. Give it a slightly more conservative front end with those nice retro cues and you might have me sold on this design, as long as the profile gets modernized a bit too.

I like the concept and also wonder how much will change if Dodge builds a production model.

Most Chrysler concepts that have made production haven't changed much at all. The 300 sedan concept was practically identical to the final version we got, except for the concept wheels...which are now available on the SRT-8 version.
Got Autoweek in the mail today. This and the Chrysler Imperial are on the cover. Apparently, this(the Challenger) is a fully functional concept. I'm guessing this mans that one could (theoreticaly) drive it out of the show.
