I think you're right. Sorry 'bout that.
I think the Column lock was fixed for the new car.

If you are a car club person, the majority of vette owners are older folks, grey hair, and one club in the Northwest has the market on being snobby. I like the Mustang and Mustang owners better.

I am a Quality Manager, and our company is involved with the C6 Corvette. GM has some major problems with the C6 they are trying to work out - Transmission, Body panel's cracking!
I am going to tell you the same thing I told my friend who just ordered his - wait for the 2006 model! Let GM work out all the bugs.
I would rather see you buy a 2006 Mustang, but it your choice! And I said 2006 Mustang, for the same reason as the Corvette - Let Ford work out the bugs! I haven't heard any problems with the 2005 Mustang, but there will be at least some minor issues. There always is, when a new model is introduced!
Its going to be hard, but I am going to try and hold out till the 2006 Models come out - wish me luck!

The vette is an amazing piece of machinery. And is probably a better sports car than the mustang if you look at all the performance characteristics.
But it isn't only about performance. Its about image as well. Personally, I'd take the tough, muscular look of the stang over the vette any day. Especially with those powerful wheelwells, forward leaning grille and wide stance.

over 147,000 were recalled recently for sterring problems, as i recall
they're made of plastic..
they're over rated
they're a product of chevy
they're not a mustang
THEY stink

Musician? If you buy the 'Vette you have to stick to the flute.
Still need help resisting the Vette? Quickly get married and have a kid!
