most of the time i dont like a car when it first comes out but after it grows on me i start liking it. i like this one from the first time i saw it. very good design. 450hp out of a direct injected 6.2L makes me thing theres still a lot of room for power on the table for these things.

Not loving the heavily angled side cove vent, and the interior may be better quality but the design is horrid. Still, overall I gotta say its pretty **** good. Now if Ford can respond with the real aggressive versions of the Evo photoshops I've seen I think the blue oval can steal Camaro and Vette sales.

Overall I like it and I'm sure it is going to be a huge improvement over the previous gen. I like how it still resembles the previous C5, C6 cars but has a lot of new unique styling (are you listening Ford).

Some of the previous posters mentioned how it has looks of other high end cars, that reminds me of the C6 Vette too! I remember when the C6 launched the same time as the S197 Mustang and people comparing the front end (mostly the headlights to a Ferrari 360 Modena).

The interior looks good but I've noticed interiors need to be seen in person to make a true opinion. I thought the last gen Vette had a nice looking interior in pictures, when I saw it in person was a very different story.

My complaints like the 2010-12 Mustang I'm not digging the rear, particularly the tail lamps. Also don't like the blacked out A-pillars kinda looks weird to me. I understand blacking out the B pillars not so much the A pillars.

I think a new age Ford GT would be awesome, those things are selling for more now then when they were new!

I may be a minority here on this, but I like it a lot. I think I would look best in darker colors where there's less contrast with all those black vents.

if a Viper ever felt lonely and got busy w/ a Camaro...

i'm on the fence to be honest. front end is pretty cool but a-pillar back makes me think of what could/should be an all new Camaro, especially the new rear quarter window.

Agree! Time for a ford GT! I must admit gm did an amazing job. At 55k they got a lot into the base vette. Not sure how they pulled it off honestly. Some very high end materials on that car. A z06 and a ZR1 later on will blow the new viper away. Well done.

Lighter colors look nice, that red looks great! But overall still a lil iffy about the looks. The front is nice, overall shape is decent but the lines and similarities to other cars is too much to ignore. But at least they took cues from a supercar killer, american legend, and one of the most production ready concepts on the road today. The look may grow on me, but id have to really get a good look at one in person to tell

Yeah I'll have to wait and see it in person at the NY auto show to really form an opinion! Sometimes the pics don't do it justice and that could be the case with this Vette?!?

Yup, I'll reserve final judgement for when I see one in the flesh. But as far as it looks in pics, not impressed

I'll warm to it. The front end is terrific...........the profile not bad, but the rear end needs the clamshell rear screen, and a major re-working of the tail lights.

6/10

That's because you can't see the rear from there

Love that front end though. Look at the surfacing on the hood......that is pretty amazing. I assume that wasn't designed to pass any Euro Pedestrian crash legislation!

I love it. Looking forward to seeing the performance numbers when it's put through its paces.
