I got a feeling that people down there would be making too much fun of my eastern European accent.

Plus, I can't stand the hot weather, I love winters.

You're a sick man. Cold weather and little crappy cars.

What's what happens when you grow up in the Eastern Europe.

Nothing like driving a mustang with the windows down, A/C off, in 90 degree weather and the sun beating down on you.

For me, there is nothing like driving F-150 4x4 in a deep snow and watching all RWD cars stuck on the side of the road.

Exactly. Sans the relatively rare GXP models they had to throw massive discounts at the G8 just to clear out that level of inventory. As a mainstream model, if this car wasn't a failure, nothing is. To really put it into perspective on a good year Mazda beats the yearly sales numbers of the G8 with the Miata, and the Corvette easily manages to beat what the G8 could manage even on a relatively bad year. On a really good year, Chevy sells as many Corvettes as Pontiac moved G8 sedans in both years combined. And neither one of those brands has to discount those models by close to fifty percent to move remaining inventory off of lots. Even the Hyundai Genesis sedan had a better market reception than the G8, and that from a meaningfully more expensive car offered by a brand that was really stretching itself by playing in that kind of pricing territory.

To call the G8 a success you have to lower the bar so much that you may as well just get rid of the bar altogether. As for the new Chevy SS, apparently GM has focused exclusively on high performance derivatives and simultaneously lowered sales expectations so drastically compared even to the numbers the G8 sold in that it would be almost impossible for the car to fail this time.

The New Orleans metro is a port city - we have all kinds of speak and colors in such a concentrated area you would fit right in. If there's two thing we can't stand here it's intolerance and the Dutch.

As for winters, we had snow a few years back - you just have to be patient!

I still say it was because it was fugly. Just another boring American sedan. Not even a good name to tie it to the former glory of Pontiac history.

If St. Louis is an upriver melting pot from way back, NOLA has to have a little of everyone with all the import/export that goes on!

I really wouldn't mind a RWD 4 door from Ford. That way I can bring all my friends around with me and have all the power of the Mustang.

But thats probably one of the main problems, I'm sure they would cannibalize each other.

To be honest with you, my dad was a truck driver so I used to go on trips with him all the time when I was younger. So I've been in almost every of the USA states.
And midwest is the only place where people don't look weird at me when they hear my accent.

And humidity so high you need a set of gills to breathe, wouldn't be the south without it.

If I had my druthers, I'd have a Aussie Ford Falcon as a daily driver and a 2013 GT500 for the weekends.
