Camaro Spy Shots (No Camo shot post #23)

Here's a shopped one from one of my other forums. It looks a little watered down but I expected as much. But from the pics top notch posted and compared its not near as watered down as the flat white ones portray. From 3/4 comparing the 2 the biggest difference I can see is the angles where the door and quarter meet. Looks a little smaller than the stang. So question is are they going to sacrifice trunk space for rear seating a la GTO or just have a smallish (like all 2+2's) rear compartment? Being the size that it is I have more confidence that it won't be a 2 ton beast as well.
And it would of course go to say that the stangs are there for a comparison. hence the V6 and v8, My question would obviously be which v6 and 8 are in the mules!!!

I dunno, I'll have to see the finished product - but from those pics, it's lost something in translation, IMHO.
I'm now beginning to think the Challenger will be much more impressive. Unfortunately, Chrysler itself is in a downward spiral.

Naw, Camaro fans are in the midst of a collective joygasm so great right now its even quelling violence in the middle east.
I've never been a big fan of the 67-69 cars (I'm a fan of the 70-72 F-bodies) so I'm not sold on the F5, but check things out and alot of Camaro fans are convinced this is the second coming of Christ and that it will completely destroy the Mustang in performance (including sales) and looks all for a measely 500.00 msrp over its direct Mustang competitor.
In the looks department I'll reserve judgement till I can see a production example thats not been washed out by the crapiness of poor lighting, white paint and a cell phone camera, otherwise color me unimpressed.

Did you read the current rant on http://www.autoextremist.com/index.shtml ? It doesn't bode well for Chrysler.

...it's more like the case of the car-chasing dog who finally catches the car and then doesn't have the first clue as to what to do next.
Chrysler's been sputtering for a while now and they just don't seem to have the creative direction, attractive products (excepting 300, Charger SRT-8 and Challenger), management team, ownership, or cash flow to keep going much longer.
I expect a fire sale before too long. Probably not a bad idea to pick up a Challenger now. It'll be worth more when Chrysler goes under.

Well, I thought the concept was ugly, albeit eyecatching. The production model (in that spy pic) is almost as ugly, and bland. Maybe it'll look better when it's offically unveiled (whenever that is), but I'm not impressed thus far.
