$1500 in rear-suspension mods (LCA's & relo brackets) and different rear tires and it's all different for a Shelby.
Not sure about the Challenger, I wonder if just new rear LCA's and tires will make it put down the power.
And being the newest/greatest, I expected more from Dodge/Chrysler/Fiat.
To put a car out there with 700+ hp and give it tires only 275mm wide ... WTF ?? That thing should've had at least 305-315's on it, and a stickier model as well. Guys have been putting 305's on Chargers/Challengers for years now, and all it takes is the right wheel offset to make them fit.

HA HAAAAA
Yes,....guilty as charged Gary. The Hellcat Charger is nasty too.
I totally agree. It's going to surprise A LOT of people when they hit that "GO" pedal and the car ends up facing sideways or the opposite way. lol
BINGO!!!
Traction semi fixed.

So it has a ton of power that it can't put to the ground.
Great.
That's a huge waste to me.
While it can be fun, it sounds like we're gonna be seeing a bunch of these wrecked very quickly due to the owners not being able to handle the power.
Kinda like when the first Vipers came out

Here is something to consider while waiting for all that carnage to show up on YouTube.
700 horsepower at the crank isn't really all that special, there are cars on the road, daily drivers putting down nearly twice that power to the rear wheels sitting in cars that were never designed to even handle 700 horsepower at the crank. There are even FWD cars making that sort of power (700) at the front wheels and while we sometimes see the nasty aftermath when you combine high horsepower in a vehicle not really designed for it in combination with some knucklehead who never had any business behind the wheel of said death trap (even if they did build it) for the most part the human hamburger Darwin awards aren't a common place occurrence.
Anecdotal evidence exists right here on these boards in the GT500 sub-forums. As far as I know I've never read a post about totaling a GT500 because of the power.

The Hellcat has some issues. That much power is hard to hook up, when the weight distribution is 57/43. In this comparo--(same driver), the Mustang GT was quicker around the track despite costing $20K less and being down 272-HP. 707-HP is a fantasy number, the Z/28 is an outstanding track car, but the Mustang GT is the car you can live with.

I really hope so man, looks like it will come out. I know I want either the 350 or 500 in a few years. http://horsepowerkings.com/ford-shel...r-development/

Dodge Hellcats recalled for fuel leak risk
Published March 03, 2015
The 707 horsepower Dodge Challenger and Charger SRT Hellcats are famous for being able to burn up to 1.5 gallons of gasoline per minute at full throttle, but they might be leaving some in the driveway, too.
The automaker has announced that it is recalling all 2,211 of the cars delivered so far after a dealer discovered the defect. The problem was tracked back to an improperly installed hose seal, which will be inspected and repaired if necessary on all of the affected cars. There have been no reported accidents or injuries related to the issue.

There are a couple more issues as well.
The drive shaft has twisting twice on a HC with drag radials on the track on blast off. lol
And there was another one that escapes my mind at the moment. Also, the A8 had some troubles as well.
