Wow, Dodge is having trouble keeping up production of Hellcats to meet demand and are only letting dealers receive one per month.

It would be a hard choice for me, but the thought of buying a top of a line Challenger, vs buying just another basic Corvette with the Z51 performance package makes the Hellcat little more special in my eyes.

I'd have to agree. Where a c7 is superior in every way imo, and it's price point is still high enough to make it somewhat rare to see. But the hellcat is even more special being top trim.

I've seen one hellcat going the opposite direction one day. Lots of c7's.

To me the Hellkitty doesn't look different enough from an R/T or whatever other models they make those boats in.

It's just another Challenger.

No thanks.

If it were me, I'd take the HC all day long over a C7. I think the C7 is ugly. Especially that front end. Unless you bring up the Z06 with the Z07 package,...that's a different story.
Plus, the HC will beat the C7, (not the Z06), all day long.
In the Z06, it's a driver's race and transmission mod. lol

Plus the chally hellkitty has a pretty strong presence on the road especially when you hear the exhaust popping and burbling. Very reminiscent of an old school muscle car

It is sorta cookie cutter when you really look at it. The only difference is the wheels and the hood. That giant supercharger is sweet though. Dodge could have made it a little more standout-ish though. Side exhaust maybe...? Just something to really say oh that's a hellcat alright! But I guess one side could argue it's sorta a "sleeper"

Very true.
It is an almost straight through exhaust, IIRC.

This argument does not make any sense, specially from mustang owners like a 2013 v6 looks so much different then a GT500, its same sh_t really, few bumper changes, few interior changes ,wheels and badges, the only important difference is under the hood ( plus suspension and transmission, whatever parts company decides to put in) same goes for camaro, and many many more cars in history.

Well,.............someone has already 'cracked" the ECU.
I wonder how long before the supporting pieces are affected, i.e., transmission, driveshaft, half shafts, and so on.

Now that's fast for a stock car.
**On drag radials. Otherwise 100% stock.
