How did the Asphalt Los Angeles Angels from Annahiem go?

 

The show went well.
I don't know how the CVMC members did in the awards yet.
They had some great Street Rods and a few Race Cars and a couple of Mini Dragsters.
They even had some nice cars from the Dark Side (Evil Bow Tie Cars)

I came down to Fredericksburg to buy some brewing supplies. The traffic was so bad on 95 at 1030 am that I switched over to route 1, which was ok until the bridge over that swamp that they call a river down there.

I would have left earlier, but I washed my car!

Came back on 95, a funeral for a Pentagon policeman had stopped all traffic south on 95 for about 1 hour! You would think that a funeral could use side roads and not the major north south corridor in this region. What were they thinking. :bang:

I missed it though since I was going north by that time.

Just rain, really cold rain!

 

All snow here, 4" so far. It stinks. Can't drive my powerfully beautiful kickin thumpin pumpin roadstang. I used to love snow, chance of a day off, but now I hate it. I am so surprised how many people almost wreck checking out this machine and the never ending praise and comments. Never expected this much attention, even the cops, Fairfax County, like the car. No tickets or warnings yet, its way to easy to go over the speed limit in it, there should be a warning sticker.

You serious? I guess I won't have an excuse if I get pulled over then, dam. Guess Ford covered themselves on that one. Last resort, read the paperwork. When I picked it up, didn't read much of anything, just signed my name 3 times and grabbed my new keys and was out the door.

My job requires me to visit many a business, and I visited Sheehy Ford in Springfield the other day. I also bought a locking gas cap while I was there. On my way out seven sales guys were gathered around my car. That is the true warning! I parked it next to a Yellow V6 with vinyl stripes which looked so bad on this car. (They did not go over the bumpers and they looked scuffed.)

When my CAI is installed on Tuesday or Wednesday, I plan on going back to bug them some more.

 

I figured you were kidding.
I love driving through the lots at the Ford dealers, just to let prospective customers get an eye full.

When you do your CAI, are you going to retune also?

I bought the Diablosport predator tuner as well, so the answer to your question is yes.

I am going to buy those two missing bolts next Wednesday. I'll call about them on Tuesday to make sure they have them in stock. I would have bought them from Cowels, but they keep giving me the run around.

Then I'll unleash the animal that is my 05 GT on them.

 

Snow this weekend? I'm tired of this stuff already.
