Probably everyone is out driving their cars. Yesterday was so nice, decided to cruise up I-81 and see how the K&N I installed worked out.
Good & Bad: Car ran great but with the traffic, especially returning, it was hard if not impossible to really just let it out and enjoy the drive. When I lived in Winchester in the 70's, you could find lots of empty spaces, oh well, back to rumbling on the Parkway..............

I had mine out since I put the chin spoiler on it. I wanted to make sure it stayed on.

I'm leaving after work on Friday so I can have a hotel room near the show and have an early start Saturday. I need a place to stash my stuff I don't want to have sitting out at the show, I learned that lesson last year. I'll be at the show Saturday and Sunday. I got some folks I met last year at FFW in Bristol who are showing one car and drag racing the other. Check out her webpage, it's one serious car that she drives. My car is nothing super special (except clean) but I will put it in the show for the great parking.

Web site for event is: www.starcitymotormadness.com

On Sunday, between 6-10pm, you can cruise between 3 locations on Williamson Road in Roanoke. Last year they had like 15,000 cars in it.

On Monday, 10:00am - 2:00pm. there will be a car and motorcyle show at the Roanoke City Market.

Will be with the Roanoke Mustang Club on Sunday at the Civic Mall from 2 -5 or so directing parking.

Really was great. We had set-up duties at the Civic Mall starting at 2:00pm so while we did not take part in the "cruising" - just checking out the cars was worth it. Have not heard a number but they say it was as many or more than they had in 04 which was like 15,000. Next year, we plan to really join in the Madness!

Have sent my registration in for your show - looking forward to it.
