I will be putting in my Mach 1 grill delete today. I was smart enough to get an apartment complex that has garages available. Worth every penny.

It's STILL raining so I guess inside the garage I go. I'll post pictures. Maybe the sun will be shining by the time I'm done.

Nice shine.

John, as the owner of a Saleen lowered Mustang, unless you only drive on great roads and plan a lot of track days, I won't lower it much, if any at all.

I've got plenty of scuf makes on the bottom of my front valance from curb cuts and angled driveway entrances.
Just my opinion on having lived with lowered Mustangs for 5 years now.

Thanks. I had the Eibachs on my 97GT and I loved the even ride around corners without the roll. This baby rolls in the corners.

Oh, and the stretch of highway 264 to 64 from Virginia Beach to Richmond is probably one of the worst roads I've ever been on.

Great idea in wanting to improve the ride/control, but I wouldn't go to crazy on the lowering.

(and I've even heard about that section of highway on our local DC news channels.)

Yep, it's bad on that stretch. I am installing the Mach 1 chin spoiler so I don't want to lower it much. I'm looking at the Ford Racing "C" series springs $150. 1 1/8 inch in the front 3/4 inch in the rear. The Eibachs will be 1.5 inches all the way around. I also saw Steeda springs that are 3/4 inch all the way around but they want alot of money for them. Must be the name.

Well, the springs are perfect. Not too hard like the Eibach I had and not too low either. I'm really liking them. I still think I'll scrape the chin spoiler at times if I'm not careful.

I didn't go to the show in Williamsburg due to the inspection sticker needing to be done. It took almost 3 hours for the shop to get to it. So, I did my first complete detail of my car and it's looking purty.

What did everyone else do this weekend??

Washed two mustangs today. Rotated the tires on the 05 and changed the oil and filter.
Finished painting the rear axel black around the rear wheels. Took a drive and had dinner with my babe and came home. My shoulder still hurts from breaking lug nuts. Man, I'm getting old...

I know what you mean, after washing, claybar the front bumper, polish, and wax........I feel like Daniel'san in Karate Kid, wax on, wax off. Oww!

Here are a couple of pictures of the car after the detail and to show the new stance with the springs.

Took a cruise out route 55 to Marshall VA and onto Winchester VA. A lot of side road action. Pretty cool. Saw way too many motorcycles having fun on Sunday too.

The Mustang looks great John

Are you going to paint your chin spoiler the same color as your Mustang?

Went to a free car show on Rt 234 in Manassas, near the airport where a Burger King and a Mcdonalds share an intersection. Saw a couple of great old Muscle cars. a 69 GTO vert, 69 Cuda vert, two 69 Mustangs, a 70 mach1, an 03 mach 1. A few vipers and corvettes. They have one here every saturday from 3pm till 11pm. Left early because of impending rain though.
