The VA Legistlature is voting on a bill that would raise ticket fines much. I know the "D" governor will sign it. We still have time to fight it. The police that I know are against it because they do not like being tax collectors.

Gridlock around here keeps most folks under the limit. Eliminating hov lanes and allowing more hwy lanes overall would work better IMO.
When I lived in Germany in the early 80's, the big cities would change a 6 lane road with 3 lanes both ways, into 5 lanes one way for one hour. No gridlock if you were going home. Currently rush hour in the dc area lasts from 4pm until 7pm and on Friday from 2pm until 8pm. HOV has only added to the problem IMO
Special lanes require special on ramps and exits which in turn cost the taxpayer more $.

I know this isn't the exact thread to put this on but I don't want to mail my old seats out. If you or anyone in the local area wants my old seats I'll be glad to give them away. The driver seat has a small tear in the left bolster the others are in great shape.
here is a pic.v-6 3000 miles no problems at all. except for a big dent in the rear quarter panel by the fuel filler cap.. thank god for the Dent Wizard.150 bucks, completly gone.paintless dent repair is remarkable. Boy does the salt and sand on the road stink!
I would wish winter would go back north where it came from.
There is rumor of a storm hitting us this weekend, but to the south.
What say you? Tony? John?

Down here they are saying freezing rain. I agree on the salt and sand issues. I had to clean the car in 30 degree temps the other day because of the salt splash on the front of my car. Up in Washington state they now have a coating spray they put down on the roads to keep them from freezing, no sand or salt.
Today is the first day I have driven my car since the Auto Show
I have been fighting a ~!@#$%^& of a cold, then all of that ice and salt everywhere
I sympathize with ya Mark and John. I really hope it warms up enough so none of it turns to ice  Lets keep our fingers crossed that the ice wont come back
