I know about this diagram for 1st Gen. Mustangs. It is intended to give the illusion that the stripes are the same width from front to rear I do believe.

I concluded that those varying dimensions would not give my 4th Gen Mustang the same illusion as it did the 1st Gen Mustangs, because of the different contours of my Mustang. Knowing this I decided to keep things simple and make them the same width through out the car from front to rear. The fact that my stripes would appear to vary slightly in width did not bother me and they turned out just fine.

I know the 5th Gen Mustang looks very much like the 1st Gen Mustangs but they are different.

After they tape off the car are you going there to make sure your getting the same effect that your looking for before they shoot it?

Regardless Im sure it will look fantastic!

My painter decided that the overall dimensions will differ slightly, but I do not remember precisely. I told him to do what looks best. He is the expert.

Too funny. The weather guessers here kept saying how much Richmond was going to get and less towards the ocean, wrong again. The bad thing is what we did get is melting very slow and it got so cold again it's all turning into a skating rink on the roads. At least it's going to be nice and even warm up this next week.
Yeah, I got to enjoy the snow too. I visited my parents in Chesapeake. Funny part was Pittsburgh did not get snow. But I got snowed in at my parents house. Kinda ironic to me. I did not think the people at work would believe me when I said I am taking an extra day off. I did drive around since I can drive in snow. Funny part is the traction control prevents you from doing doughnuts in the parking lots. I forgot it was on and tried.

That's how my parking lot at my apartment complex looks. I took the car out yesterday, ice on the roads still. My car is in serious need of a cleaning now. It'll wait until we get up into the 50's and 60's later this week.

I went driving and wasn't thinking too much. I backed up. My front dam dug up some ice. Scratched the corner up a tiny bit. But you can't see it unless you are laying down and looking underneath it.

I should receive my new 05 this week and the anticipation is killing me. Can you tell me where you are getting your stripes done? I live in Fairfax but I will go just about anywhere for a quality job.

I will tell you where once I get my car back. I want to be sure it is a good job before I spread the news. I am suffering from anxiety attacks and seperation disorder at the moment.

PM your phone number and I will give you a call as soon as this weekend if not sooner.

I drove it for 9 1/2 hours the next day back to Pittsburgh and did not notice any problems.

I am from Pittsburgh. I have lived in VA for 12+ years. I do not miss the winter rims, snowtires, salt boxes on every hill...and yes, the more frequent SNOW. :bang:

My car just needs buffed, can pick it up tomorrow at 1pm. Good weather means pictures!

I found it ironic that before X-mas, my mom told me that she hopes I get snowed in down there so I can spend more time with the family.

Another ironic part is that I think there was more snow there than I have seen in Pittsburgh this year. Unfortunately, that will change.
