Does any one know of any good window tinting places within the Mid-Michigan Area, jackson, Ann Arbor, Lansing, Battle Creek

I got a quote today for the back 3 windows of my 05 mustang with Limo Tint, they quoted $150 (Auto Images), seemed alittle high. Most of the places here in town who did window tinting are mostly gone

Thanks in Advance

That seems a little high. I got my Cobra done for 130.00 cash. That was all the windows and he would have thrown in the headliner but I said no to that. The best thing I found to do is drive around and check out these places that do it on the side. The job they do is just as good but cheaper. Always ask about a cash price! My guy didn't want to put the tint I wanted on the car. I said cash and he said no problem!

I'm getting mine done at Shady Creationz, they are in the process of moving, but the temporary number he gave me is 517-485-9615.

BTW, I dunno if you already know about this, but he was talking with me about how all of his tints protect from UVs, so he said he recommends putting a tint even on the front windshield, albeit a very, very light one. That way it protects the dash.

Got mine done in Lansing @ Ziebart for 'bout $200 - life time warranty in writing against any kind of bubbles, pealing, etc... Some of the other places I found were cheaper, but only offered a 1 year warranty.

$150 isn't too bad, as long as it has a lifetime warranty. I'm getting mine done at Sunshade Window Tinting in Troy. They have a pretty high quote ($199), but I've had other tint jobs done there and have never had any issues. Lieftime warranty as well.

The quotes probably will all be in the same range, so I'd recommend going with whoever you trust to do the best job.

I called them about tiniting and they told me it was against the law in Michigan for driver and passenger windows to be tinted. I looked around the internet and found that it looks to be true. Does anyone know anything about this? Do the police leave you alone unless they have an excuse to pull you over? thanks.
