But I use xplan so I can do it at most ford dealerships. They were real nice. I ordered exactly the way I wanted, which is the only way you seem to be able to get it that way since, not too many around. I just got mine without leather and regular stereo. still got the nice rims, active auto,automatic, I drove the 5 speed, didn't like it too much, thought it was a little jerky, great for the real racing folks, but I like automatics, and since the new auto is a 5 speed, it is a very close ratio and just about the same speed stats. So Just waiting for a nice xmas present or newyears. I'll let you know when I got it. Glad to know theres a pony girl in st. louis. HEHE

I'm in Ballwin. (St. Louis County) God I hate West County. I'd prefer the Hill or Mehlville. Used to be in Arnold. Typing sentence fragments is fun. Hopefully going on that Ponydrive thing this summer and getting my GT then.

 

We should eventually do an 05 Mustang meetup in Jeff City or something. You know, somewhere central that we could all drive to without having any problems.

 

I'm in Maryland Heights, still waiting on my Silver 05 from Suntrup. My dad has a 69 Mach 1, hes right across the river in IL. I don't know of any Mustang only get togethers, but for those of you in the STL area my dad and I always go to the Forest Park show and the big Cruise up in Jacksonville, IL every year, you car enthusiasts in the area should look into that.

 

I also live in Maryland Heights. Near Pheasant Run Drive and Ameling (in Copuntry Place Subdivision). Took delivery December 18th from Pundmann Ford in St. Charles. Car is a Satin Silver GT Premium with 5-Speed manual, IUP and upgraded wheels.

 

I don't live in Missouri, but I do live in Illinois. I would suggest going to Sunset Ford in St. Louis. They have about ten 05 mustangs there.

 

Well update on my order, just heard on the order status hotline that my red metallic gt will be built week of feb 14th. Finally something solid! I hadnt gotten any real answers on when it would be built, and finally call the line and it gives me the news. Hope to have it soon! Thanks for the help ponygirl!

 

I'm from Va I also have a 05 Yellow Mustang Gt on order, Should have it late March. Sounds like your Mustang will look great with all those strips. Im getting everything
in it but the shaker1000. I love driving a 5 speed. I will have a chip burned in to give
it more hp.

Well called hotline again, cause I cant wait till its done. This time tells me week of feb 7th , a week earlier, getting better everyday, so hopefully about 3 weeks now. well see.

 

I'm in IL about an hour north of St. Louis. What is the # you call to check on your stang. I feel like I've been waiting forever.

Wow! A regional chat! I just created a thread (14 GTs) in the general 05 category and got it moved here by the administrators. I didn't even realized here existed! Also didn't realize I had neighbors. SonicBlue Valerie and I must be close, 'cause I'm in Bethalto, north of Edwardsville. I am also ordering a Sonic GT. And hey Maverick! I'm doin the Pony Drive also! We need to hook up in Flat Rock. Since this is a regional chat thing, I'll pass along that a salesman at Sunset Ford just told me they were having a huge Mustang Show on June 4. He pointed to an enormous lot and said it would fill the entire space. Sounds like a great appetizer before the Pony Drive trip! Nice to meet some neigh-bors! (pun?)
