I have also thought about cutting into my GTA's just to see what's in them. Do you know if they are a chambered muffler? I would be willing to cut them open and add a baffle in them to change the tone but I really don't have any idea what I am doing.

Robert
Tool is without a doubt the best progressive/alternative rock band on earth today. They do no advertising, they've only done 2 interviews in the last 12 years, they're not mainstream (no pop, no MTV) etc. yet they sell millions of records and tour for years at a time. Get a chance, buy their album "10,000 Days" and block off an hour or so to sit down and listen to it... see what you think. STP is (was) a great band, and Soundgarden's Badmotorfinger album is one of my alltime faves- I have a tattoo of a portion of that album cover, matter of fact.

That was some messy stuff last night, I was running around in that stuff at work. It took a lot of skill not to spin out in the 2wd F150 work truck. Looks like about 8-10 inches here.

By the way Robert, you should call Brent from Brenspeed and talk about moving some shafts his way...... he's currently offering a 3.5" shaft for like $730 I think..... your product would be by far a more cost-effective offering.

Tom,
I saw Soundgarden warm up for Danzig at a little club in downtown detroit about 15 years ago. Chris Cornell is a great singer and front man. Not too many bands these days catch my ear. I do like Tool though. My tastes lean more towards avant-garde rock i.e. King Crimson (the hardest working band in rock and roll, they've released an average of 2 albums a year for the past 10 years). Also true Jazz Fusion like Mahavishnu Orchestra and Frank Zappa.
Thanks, David

Scott, you being the eldest, you should have the opportunity to do it first I defer to you out of respect..... I notice you posted that you out rewiring your Stang yesterday you must have a heated garage! I dont.........Its friggin cold here!! I'm still traumatized from installing my headers last winter when it was twenty degrees out! Its going to have to warm up a tad before I hit the slab to pull the axlebacks!
