Good deal Chris!! Let's do all we can do to keep the work in this country!!! That look's like a lot of work for nothing...really. A lot of my mods seems like this at times!!! I want to know who has this much spare time on their hands to do something like this.

I didn't have any buildup, although it seems like most cars do.

I also had that oil in mine. I'm not convinced it's a big problem. Except it may require cleaning the throttle body once in a while. Congrats on the new exhaust setup. I will be curious how you feel about it once it's on the car. Don't need any more GTA's. I'm still trying to decide what to do with my exhaust since adding the longtubes. Mine is very raspy now. A custom made prochamber may help. I have also been looking a some SLP 304 ss resonators. Problem is I would have to cut up my Borla pipes to put them on and "what if I don't like them" Decisions ...desisions.

Well! Scott as tom has posted I don't think where going to get the sound we want out of the 4.6 3V..I do remember you saying that you gained a raspier note after installing your long tubes I know it's apple and oranges but when I put the shorties on my exhaust note got softer.....I'm thinking I may still do the prochamber with the FRPP's ... but I've dumped a lot bucks in this exhaust safari so far its getting kinda crazy.. and by the way I'm still waitng on my tune from brenspeed!....

You guys aren't alone in that quest for a perfect exhaust. I still have some SLP Powerflow's sitting in the garage that need to go. I could use that money for something else at the moment.

No I have not looked at them closely but I did read in another thread where someone else said the same thing about the GTA's. They are made from 409SS which will rust but just not as fast as mild steel. Could you take them to a sandblaster and have them lightly blasted? Walnut shells would be the best. Of course you would have to tape the inlet and exit. Wouldn't cost that much to do. Just a thought.
