Been a bad week at work. One of the toolmakers wrecked a new tool earlier this week and the customer is supposed to be here on Tuesday from out of state. So we are feverishly rebuilding this tool. I will be working the weekend now.

I get to replace the rear struts and springs in my Escort this weekend, fun stuff. I do work Monday but it will be a during the day schedule since there won't be nearly as many buses on the road.
The delete plates are in, had a little trouble with the idle of the race tune, so American Muscle has sent me a few adjusted tunes to try and fix that, gotta try another revision tomorrow, hopefully it will be ok this time. They have been really good to work with, will most certainly continue to get tunes from them in the future.

I agree they were great to work with. It took 7 revisions to get everything the way I wanted but they hung right in there with me. I also had some idle issue they finally got fixed. Mine just wouldn't return down to final idle fast enough. It would hang up around 1000-1200 rpm for awhile. But now I have what I consider the best tune I have every had in over 5 years and 5 tuners. I think I will go to Brenspeed's fall dyno day so I can get a comparision.

Pretty good day today at the Tire Rack Test Track. About 20 Mustangs showed up and it was a blast. A Tire Rack sponsored Racer walked the coarse with us to show us the braking points and other things. Made about 9 runs, best was a 50.90 and the top run of the day was a 50.40. That placed me in about 3rd place. Top run was a Blue Mach one like tom's old car. It was a fun day.

How much (guessmation) would you guess to repaint my Black mustang with Black again and several coats of clear so I could wet sand it? When the car is paid for it (a year) I want to repaint to get rid of stone chips and swirl marks. I might even see about some blue ghost flames if the funds are available.

I know it aint gonna be cheap. That is unless you go to Macco. I am gonna guess at least 3k for it being just black and prolly around the 5-6k mark for the Ghost Flames.
