Well 13.5 isn't bad if you lost a lot in traction. I would bet you can run a 12 with hook up.
Heres a theory to look at. I was thinking about your car being lowerd in the rear only and am curious if this could have effectively changed your roll center from front to rear. Or in effect unloaded the suspension so that when you launch you dont get enough push up from the front suspension to correctly "plant" the rear tires. think of it like a teeter totter. It's just a theory. I'm not a suspension expert but you might call around to someone who is and see what they think. It might be worth a shot to swap out to the factory rear springs next time out to the track and see if it makes a difference.

Well IMO if your smoking the rear meats you aren't lacking power just the ability to transfer it to the ground.
On a side note what is the plan for tommorrow? Or is there one? Paul?
Not a drag racer but don't understand why the first thing you don't buy is sticky tires.....you could have a blown, stroked, high output engine on street tires and probably run 13s....
Even stock the stang is a strong runner and with the right tires could have good times,
Like any type of race the most important one item is rubber...
Go get some tires....Lord I'm sick of hearing about the drag strip..every time I see a post I just tell myself tell them to get tires !!!!!

Hey guys, what's Benji's last name? Hays?
Jeff... The Benji letter has been sent. Check your email.
Got a text msg from Jeff.... Kinkos messed up. It's going to be $112... Wonderful. We'll do them ourselves.
jeff... anything from our pal Randy?
I went ahead and had them do it. If anyone wants to help, I'll pick up the rest. I don't have time nor do I think anyone else does to make 500 business cards and we need them now.
Randy said he would get on it tomorrow. This weekend they had an employee killed in a motorcycle accident. Vince, the other customer service guy, is also in the hospital paralyzed from the waist down. The guy that died on the cycle, his cycle slide into Vince and broke his spine. I told him I would call later in the week.
Bob,
ANy word on the 93 octane issue or are we just going to use that guy you found on 41st??

That's aweful. Vince was our customer service guy when we bought the edge. Randy was out...
Prayers go out...
Jeff I'll help out with the cards.
