No nothing new on BHF because I did not get a chance to call. I was slammed at work then I just now got home from a law school event. I will call in the morning or early afternoon.

 

I did speak with Randy on Wednesday and he has been bidding 2 shirt places. Friday he was supposed to make a decision. He said shirts by March 10 should be no problem.

I will ask him to ask Benji if we need install kits for the gears or not. My gears will be here tomorrow and I hope to have them in by Wednesday if at all possible. I leave for Birmingham on Thursday.

 

OK ordered mine this morning from Dave @ Brenspeed with new tunes so I will be Wicked fast now! Will ship on monday. UPS ground so I figure here by the end of next week on next weekend by next monday neighbors will hate me!

 

David your car sounds great now, with the Pypes it will be awesome.

What are you guys going to do about your O2 sensors??? Are you buying the MIL eliminator to keep the CEL off, or is this handled via the tune?

ALso, David, where did you get your gears from?

 

On the sensors we could go either way, with the tuner we could just turn them off,

Getting ready to order my gears ( 373 ) from either Jegs or Summit - $160.00

Paul some of the gears can be identified in their number if they are Motive or Ford, with me an N at the end of the number and not an M indicates Ford gears

 

I know Jeff told me... Which one is the ford gears??? I'm going to order...

 

So I'm looking for an "N"...

 

Paul, I purchased from Mustangs Unlimited. Got the master install kit. Not sure if the install guy needs everything or not I figured better safe than sorry. Also have a great luck with this company may be a little more but worth it due to great customer service and fast shipping.

 

I also am wondering about this gear number thing. I dont see how a company can offer FRPP gears if they are not FRPP? Ford would not interchange like that. their either Ford or their not?

 

Double check with Jeffs note on the 4.10s, for my gears 3.73 the # ends in an N for Ford

David... There's just been a lot of chatter about the Ford Racing gears. Motive is the manf. The chatter has been just that, the motive gears whine.

 

Has the same part number that I got with the kit from Mustang UNL. Like I said if they are sold as FRPP they are FRPP if they are being sold as Motive or pro50 then thats what they are.

 

Edit: Motive is one of the manf.... You don't want those according to all the posts...
