I just want and expect my expectation to be managed...

If a vendor says he'll ship as soon as he has all 5 orders (which made up the group buy), they should ship... He had the 5 orders early Friday and did not ship. Then he said he'll ship first thing on monday which also didn't happen. He also stated the UPS guy only picks up in the morning, however yesterday these were shipped in the afternoon... Hmmm?

I understand delays and in general... sometimes poo just happens. But when someone says they are going to do something, I expect that to be fullfilled. In additonal, I had to ask him about the delays. Which I shouldn't have to do. A simple follow-up goes far...

If he would of said, "Hey, I'll get these out first of next week." I would of said "no prob." I also would of paid the extra $9 bucks to have them shipped that day.

I'm not bitter, I'll just keep this in mind next time.

Yeah I agree, I also don't or haven't seen any progress on the tracking of the shipment. Still says somthing about payment submitted for shipping. only 1 scan thus far. I hope it arrives on Monday as stated.

I am thinking of doing the stripe thing..... I have been pondering doing the rocker stripes as well. If I do then I am considering having the front scripted to read somthing. What do you guys think? I was thinking 281R ..... If I go this route I will more than likely go with the "R" model theme. Removing my GT side emblems and replacing them with the Red R badge. I haven't seen this on any other S197's as of yet I think it would make my car one of a kind.

Input??????

Go for the "one of kind", go for the "different"

Look at maybe going with one stripe down the car,

Come up with a totally different color

Come up with a different rocker setup

Like the red R concept

Be patient and come up with something that every time you look at your car you can say that looks cool and it is totally different.......

Ordered from Mustangs UNL. 288.88 for the master kit which includes 1 set FRPP gears, Master shim kit Pinion Bearing and race, Red line fluid and gasket. Not a bad price IMHO for all you get.

I will do some calling around today to see about an installer.

Jeff any word on the guy at BHF?

Real quick... jeff did contact (what his name) at BHF regarding the gear install. He'll do all of ours for $200 each.

Dave: Think about this before doing the "R" theme... It kinda considered ricer now a days. A lot of the ricers are buying that same red R emblems and slapping it on their moms Buick just to make it look cool. Not sure if you want that stigma...

What about these... 281S S = Strip as in drag strip. or 281DR for drag race or even 281HO or 281IWMWVB = I Wish Mine Was Vista Blue?

Good price, but from what I have read all over these and other forums leave the install kit stuff to the installer so in case something goes wrong the installer can't say you gave them bad stuff. It protects you from the installer trying to back out of problems.

Found out you need a UCA when installing a new driveshaft. More money... You need one due to the pinion angle. The driveshafts are supposed to bolt right in but some cars, especially ones with rear lowering springs may require a UCA.

David.........you went ahead and ordered gears, Did Mustang Unlimited have the best price and "real" Ford gears ?

Jeff, where did you buy your gears from and how much ?

Paul, where are you going to buy your gears from ?

Do we or do we not need to buy the install kits ?

Jeff and David are we still on for the Pypes ?

Does anybody know how many 2005+ gears this BHF tech has done ?
