219 plus shipping. Make sure you are getting the actual FRPP ones. The reason I say this is that Motive produces FRPP gears as well. You can tell specifically by the part numbers. For example, if you go to CJPONY Parts the Motive FRPP 410s are 179. The actual FRPP 410s are 219. Don't settle for Motive. They suck and make a lot of whine.

Don't anybody bring up my @$#^&* computer...

David the car runs, fished tailed going up an on ramp.....went to Paul's and when I left hit the on ramp and it chirped the tires in THRID gear.

Before we do the gears don't we need to find an installer ?

Paul and Jeff need to finish the wiring project because we will have three stangs waiting for pullies.

Keep your pants on Bob. Your pullies won't be here until next week anyway. Paul and I are finishing the gauges on Saturday morning at 9am.

Here are the comments from the three top tuners on the Mustang Source to my question of "what add ons in your experience on the dyno actually show increases in torque and hp ?"

Breenspeed =
CAI and tunes
Pulleys
Off road X or H pipe (8 hp)
Other parts are 6 and less hp

Tillman =
CAI and tune
H or X pipe with axle - back exhaust
UDP
Aluminum drive shaft
Deletes for intake valves
Meizere water pump
Aluminum radiator

Bama =
UDP
Off road H or X pipes
CMRC delete plates
mufflers = no power
throttle bodies or spacers = no power

Hopefully this will help, I would just take it for what it is...3 guys with experienced that quickly responded to e- mails.

Why the surprise? Brenspeed is the only one that doesn't put them on the list.

I've read up on them... i need to look at the stock ones to see if it's posiable, but why the hell don't we just remove the butterflies on the stock ones? That's all these are.... BAM! You just saved $100 bucks.

Haha, there is nothing new. I am asking for the offroad h-pipe for my birthday, but it is not until May. There is nothing left for me to do as far as performance mods to keep it NA. The gears will be here next week. The driveshaft the week after that. The CMCV deletes are taking longer since they are a return.

And no I have not purchased stock in UPS or fed ex.

Unfortunately those cost thousands of dollars to buy and almost as much to install. I will not even consider those until my extended warranty runs out. Once it does in a couple of years, let the games begin.

I am also waiting on the headers until the warranty runs out. I know they will add alot but they cost around 1500 to buy and then another 400-600 for install. I don't have that kind of money right now. In a couple years, yes, but not now.

Sounds like a good idea, but there must be some reason no one has done that. I am exchanging a gift for them so it won't concern me, but what we should do is when mine come in and we taken them off we can see if it can be done.

Exactly.... I really would need to look at the stock ones to see if/ how much modification would be needed. Think Occam's razor...

Once you get the stock ones off if it's possible to remove the butterflies and do some mild porting or blending/gasket matching then we can do a set for one then take off one and do another set and so on and so forth. I have done some head porting in the past so I would assume that doing the plates whould be a walk in the park.

Jeff... Exactly... Within 5 mins of removing your stock one, I'll be able to tell if this is a feasable option. We'll play with it...

David, nope. Not yet. I'll ping him tomorrow. As a rule, shipments happen at the end of the day. I'm on it baby.

Bob, where did you order your Hawk brake pads from? How much were they? How much were your new rotors? Where did you order those from? Is all that worth it? Thinking about putting new brake pads on since mine are getting worn.
