The new Shelby GTs have a silver stripe but I don't think it is as dark as you are planning. It should look good. Let us know how expensive they are.

How wide of a stripe and how much gap between the two? I think 10 inch with 1 and 1.5 inch gap looks the best.

With the intake kit was the DVD "building the beast" or whatever it was. I found it to be interesting but Idid figure out why Evan was able to get the 13.3 Time with the stock car.

Well its simple.

The car was Performance White!

As it is the fastest Non-Color.

Actually I found it to be quite suspect as it appeared that he was running on street radials. I think it can be chalked up to this.....

We guessed it was due to drag radials. I figure with my mods plus the new gears, with some drag radials I should be in the upper 12s. We'll see come June right?

Sounds like fun. Let me know how it is. I will be in Birmingham, AL at a mock trial competiton. I figure you should be around at least 13.0 with the way you drive your car (with the new CAI and tune). Hopefully you won't have any hooking up problems.

Not right off hand. I've seen red and blue and black. I think silver is a great choice! I think I'd go with that or a satin silver. Either looks good on white. You could go with a darker color like blue, red or black but IMO, it screams "LOOK AT ME! I HAVE STRIPES!". The silver is a little less in your face. Good choice!

Yes! Tech day Saturday! " This is going to be some motor party! Beeeeeee there...

David- Would it help if we moved the meeting to a different date and/or time?

Well I hope to have good times But traction could be a factor. With no action at the track the surface will not be optimal. But perhaps I can aquire a set of drag radials by then as well.

Sundays aren't going to work for me. We could do Monday nights after 630. I have class until 620 each Monday.

Where has bobby been lately I haven't seen a post in quite a while. I think we've added two pages to the thread since his last post. I hope everything is alright.

Would Monday nights not work for anybody? It's no sweat changing it if you don't mind meeting after 630.

You're not the fly or the ointment. You're just Dave
