There are only 2 quarter mile tracks in the state. Here and Thunder Valley in Noble, OK near Norman. All other tracks are 1/8 mile tracks and in my opinion not worth running.

Hey man, thought you might want to share some info with the Tulsa guys. We are having a Mustang show at Joe Cooper Ford in Yukon, Ok on June 2nd. Doug from Bamachips is bringing his dyno the day before and will be doing forced induction tunes, naturally aspirated tunes, and dyno runs right here at the show. We already have a lot of interest in this. Anyone wanting one of Doug's custom tunes could really benefit from this. If you know anyone who is serious about doing this let me know so I can pass it on to Doug. We already have a list going. Thanks.

i finally got a tracking number for my driveshaft. Should be here on Thursday. Spoke with Benji today and he said he could put it in on Thursday night.:-)

 

Spoke with Randy today. Here is the update:

Got a new shirt place. Will have a price on Monday. I sat him down and asked him what was the deal. I even used Bob's "You don't want to do anything for us because you are tired of seeing the same 4 guys, aren't you?" He said no. Said that this last month or so has been very busy and he has had no time to do the special stuff they want to do. New CS guy starts tomorrow morning. BH, Randy and the other co-owner are sitting down Monday to hash out the stuff they want to do for summer, i.e. shows, events, etc. Should have an schedule by Monday night they said. He said they fully want us and will get us what we want. Since Randy's time is opening up he can finally get down to business on all this stuff. Said the delays have only been due to lack of time and nothing else. Said he would still like to do the membership drive on the 14th.

Here's my take: We go on doing what we have been and if BHF does something then that is icing on the cake. We just won't wait around anymore for them to make any moves. We should move the membership drive to a different date. He has handed out flyers to the last several mustangs they have sold. I gave him some cards to hand out now too.

 

He said there overall goal is to be like the Harley store on Saturdays and to have us come out for those types of events as well as go to shows and pay our entry fees so they can setup with our cars. This would be nice for the Mid America show since it is so expensive.

Speaking of the mid america show should we be getting info and preparing for this now? June will be here before we know it.
