Got my tuner back. All my BAma tunes went in fine. I can't downlaod any of my Brenspeed tunes now, weird. SCT updated the firmware on my xcal2 for free. Had to figure out how to use it to install the new tunes though. Went in fine once I figured out which button to push.

 

Not bored... Just determined .

Oh well jeff to bama and I have bit the bullet and I have some bling surprises on the way.

 

Dave and Bob-
You guys have the newest tuners. What firmware is it? Is it 1.15? The reason I ask is is that it has one more option when uploading a tune into the car that didn't exist with the old version. It will ask if you want to change parameters or options, you hit cancel for no. Then it asks you another question. Do you hit select for yes or cancel for no on this option?

So far not real impressed with the BAma tune. The idle on startup is REALLY low like 750 rpms. It should start high then come down especially if it is cool. Also, the car seems to not pull as hard down low like the Brenspeed tune did. Did you guys have similar reactions, Bob, Paul?

I don't have any problems with my tunes what so ever. BUT, I set mine and forget it. The only time I mess with it, is when I change oct (race days) or add parts like gears or my SC....

You know it! I'm actually trying to program my tuner to automatically turn off the traction cotrol. Can't find where that setting is... In Extreme Tune it doesn't give you the option. I havn't check the datalogging piece yet... anyone try this yet???
