Well the flowmasters are in my opinion for a mustang like peanut butter with jelly and the Pypes setup I got a great deal on thru a group buy here on TMS. The result is what every muscle car should sound like. I love it.

so i just came home from eating and on the way back i lined up against this 350Z (another kid was in it) we looked at each other and nodded haha. we were on 71st and sheridan heading up towards yale right after the big hill he guned it first, i had to drop a gear and then proceed and it wasn't long that i was right back up with him and started pulling away from him be4 he hit the brakes. just thought i would share that with my fellow tulsa mustang peeps!!

naah that makes my record 11-2 now haha..i raced 2 diff. cobras 03-04 svt supercharged and get worked we went from a roll so it would of been diff. if it was from a dig it might have been a lil diff. since he wuold of prolly been spinning through 3rd gear idk tho??

man today must have been a good race today. i raced my friends 05 inifiniti g35 with CAI and beat him by like 10 car lengths and slowed downafter that. and after that i faced his friends COBRA a 98 i think from..he was from BA he said he was pushin 360 HP so i was like maan u will prolly get me tho but we ran from a dig and i got him out of the whole then kept walking on him till i hit 120 then backed off and i was like 6-7 car lengths on him hahaha

 

when do u guys usally launch at? about 3.5 G?

No way! 3500 is too high of a launch for these cars. All you will do is smoke the tires. At the track, on street tires, a good launch is about 1500-1800 rpms.

Chris are you experiencing tire spin the way you normally launch? You want to get away with the tires making a eh eh eh sound just on the verge of breaking loose. So you need to find the rpm thats right for you. Should be around idle to 1200 I would think with street tires if you are talking about from a stand still. You want to step into the power so you dont have your tires go up in smoke. Races are won and lost on the starting line. Practice makes perfect. The loud screeching sound your tires make when your buring rubber sounds cool but it will cost you the race. You really want no spin at all. Now if your talking from a roll thats different.

 

Went over to the Hooters car show to pass out cards to the Mustangs,

Same mess as last year with more cars than space, same idiot that ran it last year is running it again this year....cars were pulling in and then leaving because of no parking,

There was only one 2005+ stang, it was black with red stripes.....that is right Paul...are old friendly friend..
