Heh, I have an 07 C6 with 800 miles on my lot too

 

The C7 is a nice car and actually is better all around then a stock Shelby "notice I said stock" so I'm not sure why people would take the hit to trade on one.

With that said I'd be honest about what I have under the hood if money was involved. However, there is nothing saying the person I'm going to race against is honest.

I would say if the guy that got beat wants to act like a two year old that's HIS problem. I have a tendancy to downplay my mods. People have lower expectations that way and if you do get beat people won't get all over you so much about it.
It's always best to remain humble. Let the car do the talking.

 

back in the day before power adders ( blowers -turbos- nos) and stuff we would listen to the other guys motor and usually tell how potent he was .. late 60`s to late 70`s

i told a guy in a vette i had twin turbos on my truck...he wouldnt race me lol. but he was that winpy looking kinda guy ya know? the book worm with a fast car hehe.
