Let's see . . .I must have it pretty good.
My Fiancee told me I should purchase my Mustang. And then she went and bought me rims/tires for an engagement present.

All I can say here is that "Fiancee" is the operative word. Women will do amazing things to get "their catch". Once the isle is walked, the "yes'" turn to "nos" more often than not.
Go for it now!!

Numerous times she has come in while I'm on the computer, and asked what I'm reading, now she knows I'm probably on the forum.

my wife once asked why I was on the computer so often; not spending time with her watching TV or talking...I 'fessed up and told her I was having an internet affair with a '05 Mustang!

Well, my wife actually tolerates it to a point. But if I go say 20-30 minutes steady without talking about anything else, she starts to give me the look. You other married guys know the look.
Overall, she's great. She even calls the ERL for me because her pronounciation is better. (Or maybe the ERL just likes women better.)

Kevin,
I'm not surprised. There's simple fact of life that always has to come into play. You go to always spend more on the wife. I ordered a Mustang without complaint, but I'm also getting here whatever she wants - leaning toward an Infiniti right now.
It may not be a cost effective philosophy, but it works best in the long run.

I got "the look" the other day when I suggested selling the Altima so I can use extra cash on mods for the Mustang

My wife talks about the stang as much as I do... Guess Im lucky...
her for a babe that loves cars like i do... She's always telling
me "that's all you talk about". Sorry, but I don't dwell on what drapes
would look best in the living room or what color should we paint the kitchen.
Not that it doesn't interest me at all but I'm usually thinking, hhhmmm, it's been almost 3 days since i last washed the car...what wax should i use next?
[/b][/quote]
My wife encourage me to buy the car... hounded me about it every day..Now we have one She comes up to me and says the stangs dirty.. you need to wash it.. wn3d: Like a good BORG I comply...
She points out other stangs (all years) - encourages me to get the upgrades I keep babbling about and wants me to get the performance tune and doesnt agree that I am not getting the CAI... IMMEdiately.... She WANTS me to spend the money to upgrade the gauges to MYCOLOR.. and she complains when I dont step on the gas a bit when I give her a ride....

Eleanor is Yellow *****.......Rhymes with Eleanor.
My entire family says- I thought you would shut up when you finally got one. Only person who enjoys talking about her is my Dad who is also a mustang nut.
Everyone else: its ONLY a car........please. Its THE car I have waited my whole life for.

My wife was okay with me talking about the Mustang until the Cobra debuted at the NY Auto Show. Then she started getting a little impatient. Of course, it could have been because every time I said a word with an "s" in it, I would stretch it out like thissssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss to remind her of the Cobra.
It's funny how the wife can get so edgy....
