Window ticks.

I've discovered that <name pending>'s right side window is... ticking when it's rolled up or down.

Is this something I should worry about? The drivers side doesn't do it... I *hate* fiddling with window mechanisims... is it just some kinda lube issue?

Thanks!

I am assuming your <name pending> 2006 GT was used? If so, did the previous owner install aftermarket speakers in the doors? If he/she didn't run the wires correctly, that could cause a ticking as the window mech moves past the wires. I had a similar ticking in my Sport Trac after I installed Infinitys in the doors. Had to tear it apart and found the little splitter box was rubbing against the window track. Just a thought.

Everytime I see the title to this thread I envision a giant Tick stuck to your window! A big fat one full of blood.

Steve: no, it's almost bone stock. Nothing added, except the front blinggrille and the sticky thingy that holds mah phone to the dash. That's it.

Jimmy: Yeah, I wondered if my title was going to make that happen. I wuz right!

So, I suppose I'm pulling the door panel... But that's ok. I think I gotta do that anyway to replace the inside weatherstrips for the tint issue. Yay.

Thanks for the replies!
