Window not going down

Disconnected my battery on my 09 vert today so i could put the car in storage, and my window stays
up and i can't close the door. I know there is no power now, but i reconnected the battery, and the window does not go down slightly like it used to, in order to open or close the door. Is there some kind of reset procedure ? Thanks !

yes. To reset your window, with the car turned on, run the window all the way up, then all the way down, then all the way up again. That should reset it. If you want to be able to open and close the door with the battery disconnected, I would suggest opening the door so the window moves down a little, then disconnecting the battery. That crack will always be there, but if you store it inside, under a cover, there shouldn't be a problem with it.

You will probably have to reset the window again when you are ready to pull it out of stororage.

Everytime I've had this issue I just roll the window up and hold the switch in the "up" position for about three seconds. That fixes it.

Just like the manual says, you roll the window up all the way. Let go of the switch, and then hold the switch in the up position for 3 seconds. That resets it. You should now be able to roll the window down and up with no issues. BTW, you can do this without having to start the car. Just put the key in and turn it to the accessory position.

Moved to the main forum as this issue/resolution does not pertain to just the GT/CS model.
