I still have my truck and a 2006 manual GT. Every time I drive my truck I wish I were in my stang. About the midlife crisis thing. I'm only 52 so I'm nowhere near that yet. Let you know if I ever get there.

But gas mileage sucks! I think it's a done deal, I just need to sell the HD, trade in is pitiful, and start shopping for the Mustang!
Well not so fast. It isnt that easy. Not only do you decide on the stick or auto, but now you must decide on the GT or the Shelby Sounds like you have a little bit of time due to the truck sale so you might as well think about the Shebly GT due out shortly. Nothing like peer pressure! At least unlike the drugs and alchohol type when you were in high school this one you will remember what you did when you were on it

Going from a truck to a Mustang? You may miss the capacity the truck offers, but that will be nothing compared to driving a new stang!

Funny how much we all are alike!

I have an old 92 f-150 and was ready to buy my first new car. I live on 5 acres and need a truck and most all the men at my work drive trucks. So the natural choice would be a new truck, but the more I thought about it, I realized I would have a lot more fun driving a Mustang than a new truck, my 05 Mustang certainly gets better mpg than a truck would and I could not see myself hauling trash and junk in a new truck like I do with my old one. So I kept my old truck for hauling junk , but I drive my mustang daily. Driving a truck is like stting back and observing life go by. Driving a Mustang you, you hit the gas and leave your worries behind, you dont just sit back and observe life , you take hold of it and hang on, and enjoy every minute.

Im 51 and yeah the first comments I heard was "Mid life crisis". Shoot I would have had a Mustang long ago if I could have affored one, it just took me until now to be able to buy my wife her fourth new car and pay off bills so I could afford one.
