I wear fairly thin soled shoes and recently (about two months ago) I started to notice that when I step on the breaks from going 40+ there is a light vibration coming from the break pedal. The car is only 7 months old and I can't think of what this could be, any ideas?

Sounds like warped rotors to me.

There's a pretty well written explaination why brake related vibrations occur here--- http://www.performanceoiltechnology....ingsystems.htm

They also mention brake lining to rotor transfer but offer no solution for it other than buying quality linings. I'd try researching brake lining transfer and brake pad burnishing first before going out and having your rotors cut. If I find the site I had saved and read about burnishing before my computor crashed and lost files I'll post it.

Couldn't find the original burnish thread I had but this one's just as informative. Just remember it's important not to completely stop while burnishing until pads have cooled.... http://www.stoptech.com/tech_info/wp_bedintheory.shtml
