I tried it the first way by trying to stuff the liner in. Didn't turn out so well so I took the door panel off and the liner and it was easy as cake. I have a few 10 ft stripes left if anyone needs them. PM me and I will check shipping.

Did you put the new moleskin liner on over the existing rubber liner, or did you replace the existing rubber liner with the new one?

All you do is stick it on top of the current rubber liner.

And to think that I almost bought tint last week. I drive with my windows down a lot. Lots of opportunity for dirt to get in.

Did you have to cut the moleskin liner width down to 3/4" like bcboy did, or just cut the length?

I have not had any problems of any kind with the mole hair strips over a month and nothing at all. The best $4 I've spent yet on the car...lol

Mine is at the dealer today for them to look at it. Only the passenger side is scratched and getting worse all the time. However, since the scratch does not go completely through the tint and has not damaged the window they may not replace it.

I know a lot of people are talking about mole skin however, only my passenger side window is scratching. Nothing wrong with the drivers side so I think it is a tracking issue and not a rubber seal issue.

Well I may think it is something like that too....However, I don't know totally. I do know that my driver side window 98% of the time goes down correctly. Correctly to the point where just a weeee bit of the glass is showing out of the rubber seals. That other 2% though I notice that the window goes completely missing. Meaning, that there is no glass showing at the rubber seal. Anyone else notice this? I do have the global window enabled or whatever came factory installed during Oct 2004.

I don't know if you could contribute this to the window being off track, which would cause the scratching. Not sure. But I did get the moleskin, and I am taking it to the tinter this weekend to get the tint replaced and moleskin liner installed at the same time. I REALLLLY hope this fixes it.

Ya, mine does the same thing. Once in a while it goes all the way down and I hear a thump.
