Both of mine (driver's & passernger side) are scratched, same spot as others---up front of each window near the side mirrors, so that you have to see / look at them all the time.
I haven't yet taken it up with my dealer, but I will when I go in for the upper strut mount fix.
Someone said the window regulator needs to be adjusted?
It is really not practical to have to clean out the window liner twice a week. Seems to me to be a poor design if we are scratching our window tint.

I went a different way, I left the door panels on, measured the strips, cleaned the factory rubber with rubbing alcohol, slid the moleskin strip starting at the angle cut (mirror side) in between the window and the rubber strip, at the post side peel the backing off and place on rubber pushing with finger as you peel the backing off run a finger on the top as well so the moleskin is level, run you finger back and forth a couple of times and your done!

Nichole, how much did the moleskin channel liner cost? Do you still have any left?

CR Laurence is a waste of time. I spoke to several people there and spoke to several of their "so-called" distributors. Couldnt find a single soul to buy some from. After all the hassle, I decided if they were the ONLY supplier worldwide, I would live with scratched windows.

Is there any other supplier out on the web that sells the channel liner? They can't be the only ones....

Maybe I am just lucky.......
I had my windows tinted at the dealer (on site) upon delivery in January.
Shortly thereafter I noticed the typical scratches in both sides.
On April 25th I returned to the dealer for some other warranty work and advised them about the scratches. Service writer stated they had another 05 come in with same issue. The service writer, upon pick up of the car, stated they re-tinted the windows and "adjusted the window regulators." I noticed that they did not add any felt or other type of different inside strips. Well so far, the scratches have not reappeared! I have had the windows up and down approximately 6 ~ 8 times since the repair. So hopefully my particular problem on my baby is solved. Only time will tell.
