Strange. I was scheduled for May 2nd, and now I am scheduled for April 25th. I am curious as to what causes these changes. There was the hypothesis that they would move cars according to higher or lower than expected production speed, but that makes no sense if they are moving people both in AND out of a build week.

Did you guys get an update today? For the last two weeks ERL has been saying "As of 03/31 you are scheduled to be built the week of 04/25"...today she says "As of 04/07 you are scheduled to be built the week of 04/25"...I'm encouraged that at least it changed!!! It still can't come soon enough though...weather is getting nice here and man I want to lay out the new 05 down some country roads!!!

Add me to the list. As of 3/31 I am scheduled to be built the Week of the 25th. I don't understand however, because only a week ago, the 800 lady said, "as of 3/31 your unit is schedule to be built the week of the 18th.

They have access to your VIN now, EK - go see 'em!!

Once a vehicle is serialized, the dealer can look it up in their system. I believe they also get daily printouts from Ford showing each ordered vehicle's VIN and its status. I called my salesman just a few days after my order was pulled and he read my VIN to me over the phone.

 

This morning..."as of April 7th, you are scheduled to be built the week of April 25th." Same thing ERL has been saying since the 7th.

I did get my VIN from the salesman, though (on the 12th).

 

Yup, I am serialized to be built on the week of April 25th. My message from the robot is:

"As of April 2nd, you are scheduled to be built on the week of April 25th"

I ordered my car in the middle of December with a deposit. My dealer avoided me thoroughly until he got the news from Ford that my car would infact be built. Then he called me on the phone to let me know the news, which is amazing because he never called Now he's as chummy as ever What a relief to go from clean and unscheduled to having a date.

 

ERL (Although not so evil anymore) has me down for the 25th still.
I'll have to take her out to dinner or something once I get my pony.

 

You're not alone! First my Salesman told me my stang was scheduled to be built week of April 18, but ERL told me 25th! Now she's telling me its scheduled to be built week of May 2!!! :bang:

I'm gonna tell her I'll take her out to dinner, but then I'm gonna keep postponing for 4-5 months. Never can tell when there will be a shortage of chicken...or pasta...
