Lucky me. I am still stink on "produced" for the fourth straight day after being stuck on "bucked" for four straight days. This is total bulls**t.

Emailed Fred Fredrickson who is an internet dealer over on www.allfordmustangs.com and he checked on my car for me since my dealer is so lazy...he replied this.

Hello Scott

Sorry it took so long getting back with you.

I talked to a Ford Engineer and your car is still at the plant.

It is on hold for a quality inspection. It should be released this week.

Ford will pull them once in awhile and go thru and check the entire

Car to make sure everything is in good working order and that it is

Exactly built the way it was ordered.

Respectfully

Fred Frederickson

The saga continues. So, last month, I go to the friendly US Bank and get a loan for the pending car. Everything goes well, and I tell them it is important that the first payment be due at the end of May, rather than the May 12th date they show me. "No problem" they say. "We can push it to June 1 if you like." That was great. I had the car itself, insurance, as well as some other bills to tie up before the car arrived in mid-May. So, I get a bill yesterday for the first car payment, due May 12. I call the bank and ask what happened to June 1. "Oh that's right we forgot. The best we can do is move the payments after this first one. The first one will still be due in nine days. After that, they will be due at the end of the month" A lot of freakin' good that does me. Now normally the car payment won't phase me, but I happened to take them at their word that they would move the payment, so I budgeted that money elsewhere to take care of some debt before the car shows up. To make a long story short, I just had to pay a car payment that was unbudgeted for, which I really was not prepared to make, BEFORE MY F'ING CAR IS EVEN HERE!!!!. I hate people who don't do their jobs. Looks like I am going to be eating a lot of ramen noodles until the 15th.

Looks like I might get mine on Monday. (I hope)
Dealer said once car gets to Mississippi it will be 4 days later.
Said if it's already on the rail it will get there pretty fast.
So if it gets there by wed. or thurs.
So if all goes well :drive:
Also getting ready getting the papers set-up for loan.
That way all will be ready.

Tim,groupset I'm stuck with the rest of you, still 'as of 4/28... produced.' OH sweet misery. :bang:

Tim I agree with you about people who do not follow through on an agreement. It's like they are just telling you they can do something but have no plan for doing it. I love the 'Oh sorry - we forgot' - now it's your problem. How about some problem ownership - on a problem THEY created.

Oh well, when your stang arrives all things will be better... if we could just find out when our cars will arrive!
