They fed you lies. If you took your car to the dealer to have them repair it after a wreck, they would fix it and match the paint EXACTLY to what factory delivers. You should've pushed, they are full of it.
Even if you didn't want to the dealer to do it, like other people had said, you could've gone to a body shop and get it done for no more than $300... all I know is I would've not given up the car for an issue so easily fixable.

It would have been great to have that as an option..

the reason they would not fill the holes from the spoiler and paint was that according the the service/repair guy they can not accurately duplicate a black factory paint... those are his words.. not mine...

my 2 options as explained by the sales manager were that a. I take the car home with a spoiler... or b. not take the car home at all...
Not match the paint...TOTAL BS!!! How much were you paying for the car, I'm wondering if you were xplan or a much discounted price...maybe they were trying to get you not to buy the car so they could sell it at a hire price.

You so got lied to. It is easiest to match a brand new car's paint because there has been no time for paint fade, oxidation, etc. If you had a good deal, the dealer either 1) didn't want to waste their time or 2) didn't want you to take it because they could sell it for more to someone else.

That's what I was thinking, either he ordered with a discount or right at MSRP and they wanted more $$$. I repeat, I would've not let the car go, ever. If anything, drive it and put it up for sale right away if you really dislike a WHOLE CAR for a spoiler... I'm still trying to make sense out of this one...
