I see that a lot of us have had our ETA's pushed back. My dealer just told me mine was pushed from 5-15 to 5-24! I'm only 520 miles from Detroit. I can't imagine why it would take so long.

 

My dealer says 5/6. ERL just keeps saying that it has been shipped. Does anyone know if she updates after it has been shipped by convoy carrier. If not, I'll quit buggin her.

I can almost taste those nanners... (too bad I hate bananas).

 

Yeah...my ETA went from 5/5 to 5/9 to 5/13. I am currently stuck on "produced". What in the heck does that mean? Is it sitting in a lot somewhere waiting to be put on a truck? Has it even been released from the plant? It has been stuck on that status for 3 days. Oh well...I guess she will arrive when she arrives.

The dealer told me Friday that is should be about a week from build date to delivery, which would make it anytime after tomorrow. We will have to wait and see. :scratch:

At least, I know it is built!

Hopefully, others that have been waiting, some even longer than I, will get their '05 ponies too!

The roof collapsed on the section of the plant holding our cars!!!!

 

I think the ERL is extremely lazy as of late. She's still saying my unit is scheduled to be built the week of the 25th!

Told me it has been shipped with an ETA of May 11th

 

WTH?? I just called the Customer Service number and the woman could only tell me the ETA....which I already knew. When I asked her when it's expected to ship, she said she doesn't have that info.

 

I just called customer service. I've been bucked with an estimated delivery date at the dealership of May 23rd.

 

My ETA is now May 20th. So, in the course of less than a week, it was built, and the ETA has been pushed BACK 15 days from May 5th to May 20th. I thought I was done getting bent over by Ford, but I guess I really should have known better. At this freakin' rate, people will have their '06s before I have mine.

I am sure I am going to love this car dearly, and I am positive it will be great, but I also swear this is the last Ford I will ever buy. If it truly takes until May 20th, it will take nearly 4 weeks to ship. They can ship a BMW across the Atlantic Ocean in less time than that.

 

When I spoke to customer service they said my car is expected between 5/16 and 5/23. I waited 5 months already, I think I can make it another two.

 

Yeah...I have waited four months. I am just venting.

she also said that the system hasnt been updated and that info was not the most up-to-date...wtf?
