WHIPPLE 10PSI HO Kit installed and DYNOED
The impressive part is that whipple states this kit pumps out 475HP and 450tq and you're just about on it...Roush says their SC gets you to 415HP but it really gets you to about 370HP
...not to mention Ford claims 300HP when it's really ~270HP
I know their talking about wheel vs crank HP but seriously, wish they'd cut that out. It's misleading.

I didnt really get any pics of the install...I'll post some pics when I get some time of under the hood at least! And the 305/45/18's out back!
With the worn toyo 275/40/18 I had at first was useless. The tires would start to spin at the top of 1st and 2nd if I had the gas mashed. Keep in mind I also have 4:10's. So I went to a nitto DR 555R in a 305/45/18 and got a Deep Dish 18x10 (front one is not DD) since its about 28.5" tall it hepls tame the 4:10 down to like a 3:86. So now I get pretty decient traction....and the foot of rubber helps!
Here is what it looks like now....

Mark, that thing just keeps looking meaner and meaner!
Thanks...im really likeing how its turning out.
I still would love to have Doug tune it up some too. I have a friend that lives in Montgomery AL that we are about to make plans to go visit. I dont know how far that is from dougs (do you know) but I might try to talk the woman into letting me take my car and then making a day trip to doug.

Montgomery is about 1.5 hour south of us (from the dyno you went to last time, if it was Walker Dyno). Its not a bad drive at all, straight up I-65.
The Steeda hood has provisions for the washers. You pop them out the stocker and pop them into the steed one upside down under the lip thats by the windshield.
Wow - that is awesome man. I'm in Iraq right now - saving my pennies for a S/C when I return and WHIPPLE just shot to the top of my list. I may tone it down to 8 PSI - but still........
Also - I love those Nitto's on the back - they just scream "I'm gonna kick your @$$!!!"

Your car is nasty!!!!! Someone stated above that the Musatng responds very well to a blower and I agree. I'd like to install a s/c myself on my 2007 GT Mustang. I thought of getting the non-intercooled version of the whipple. I don't plan on running quater miles. I just want to add some additional power. I'd like to put down +/- 400 hp at the rear wheels. I want to get as many miles out of this bottom end as I can so I want to be conservative with which type of s/c I buy. I also want a s/c that is very low maintenence. Can anyone throw me any suggestions? Is the non-intercolled whipple a good choice for what I'm looking for???.....Sorry to hijack the thread with this question.

First off...thanks for being there for us...be safe!!
I dont know if you need to tone it down...I hope not lol. I am on a stock block now and im hoping for some miles out of it. So far so good!!
The nittos are fun...they look very very good on that deep dish rim and tuck in ever so nicely. Make sure you have an adj panhard so you can center them. I didnt realize when my old tires were on that the passenger side stuck out more...when these went on it rubbed a little. After adjusting the panhard its fine now.
ascop13 I would still get the HO kit and just get a 8psi or 6 psi pully. The cooler it runs the better it is on everything!
