MP3 question
MP3 question
I'll admit right now that this is a really dumb question that anyone younger than 40 would know, but here goes:
My "Shaker 1000" (sounds like a blender, not a sound system) is MP3 capable. So, like, how do I use it that way?
How do I make an MP3 disc? Those of you who use it, what do you listen to? I had one guy tell me he listens to NPR, so what is he doing, downloading it onto a disc and then playing it when he's on the road?
Thanks.

too many ways. easy one in Windows XP is to insert a blank CD in a drive then drag and drop files onto drive in windows explorer. Once you are done, select the drive and do burn CD.
Anything from music to class lectures to books on MP3
most likely. Unless he simply listens to NPR on the AM or Satellite radio
Just remember you can only make it one folder deep.
So...folder for:
- Oldies
- Club Mix
- Country
Not:
+ Oldies
-- Elvis
-- Beatles
+ Club Mix
-- Jock Jams
-- MTV
+ Country
-- Willie Nelson
-- Garth Brooks

I just dump my MP3s into the root directory w/o any folders at all. I find that letting it randomly pick songs is much more exciting. I never know what the next song will be!!!
All our MP3 CDs are of the structure:
Artist\album\TR# - Title.mp3
They play just fine using folder mode and the ID3 tags display correctly on the display.
