Vid of the window rising by 1/4" to seal properly
#5
I'd like to see the door opened, so I can see the window come down.
I'd also like to see a few vids of someone messing with the My Color feature on the Instrument Cluster, or maybe just driving the car.

Here is a clearer video of the window seal operation:

Here's a thread that has a video of the MyColor feature. The video link is on page 5 of the thread. Enjoy!

I think you all are missing the obvious, the purpose for that is because large coupes and convertibles create a lot of air pressure when someone slams the door shut. The BMW's have been doing this for years, as it prevents the seals from being blown out when the car is...finally, in the case of the Mustang and possibly a first for a domestic car...properly sealed to begin with.
My '00 328Ci (E46 chassis) did it, as did my '97 M3 (E36 chassis).
Good work Ford! That should give us all reason to hope that the car is nice and quiet and well sealed inside.
The added benefit is by being able to slide up behind the moulding, it may help with theft and also help reduce wind noise as well.

That is just a cool feature. When I test drove a V6, the salesman opened the door and was in shock. He opened the door 5-6 times just in awe.
That wasn't the only thing I had to explain to him on the new Mustang.

Is there an off switch? What if somebody wanted to tint the windows? Who knows, I might want to when I get my '09.
