I've toyed with getting two-tone seats for over a year and a half (since I ordered my car). Sometimes I want it (it would be black with blue inserts) as it would really make the inside stand out (its kinda drab all black), then sometimes, I see it as too much blue. I just can't decide. I would do Katzkin interior, as their leather is VERY nice (way better than factory) and they have so many colors to choose from, and have 5 different patterns of seats to use. Plus the price isn't bad at all. The only thing I have to make sure is how much more to make them side airbag compatible.

I need some of my Blue bretherin to chime in and help. Hey Tom281, Vistablue Mustang, and anyone else who clicks below. What do you think of black with blue inserts? Below is the link to Katzin's home page. Click on "Products" and then click on "Leather Colors". The color I have been stressing over is called Pacific Blue. Its in the 6th row down, and 7th color across. What do you think of the color? Thanks for the help.

Looks good Donna!

I liked all the pics you have of your interior. I was considering the same heater/AC *****, now I know what they will look like!

Thanks!

05FordGT, have you ever seen a Roush with the custom Roush two tone seats? I have seen one in Vista Blue with two tone black/blue seats. Perhaps this will help with your decision.

I am thinking about ordering a Roush and am undecided about whether to go with the Premier Trim interior (Black/Dove) as-is, or the two tone Black/Gray Roush leather, or get a GT/CS-type custom job.

Anyone out there have the Charcoal seats with Red inserts?
I saw the Red with Black inserts but none like the GT500 yet.

Hollywoodnorth took his interior idea from my car. I went with the red / charcoal Katzin "black widow" pattern also. Unlike Hollywoodnorth, my seats have both have both ponies facing the same direction as the front grill insert. Also, I had my headrests made at an interior shop with Katzin supplied leather.

Katzin cannot make a red [or any other color] / charcoal headrest that does not have contrasting stitching. Since the rest of my interior has no contrasting stitching - I did not want my headrests to have any. Thus, I had to have the headrests custom made at a local interior shop. It was a far bigger pain-in-the-neck to get it right; but the results speak for themselves [in my opinion].

There is a link to some photos in my signature below.

Th confusion about the interior color options goes all the way back to mid-last year. Here's a thread that describes the various options and has pictures of them:

Hey Bob, a matter of fact, I have seen the black/blue Roush seats. I LOVE THEM, and did some research, then found out they are not available for side airbag equipped seats (like mine). I'm thinking Katzkins are the way to go. They do offer nice leather.

Jeff, you have unearthed a new question for my situation. I am working on a new 2008 Roush as we speak. I believe side air bags are standard on 2008 Mustangs, so surely the Roush leather will be re-configured to handle side air bags ???

You would hope so. The only thing I don't know, is if I can get away with these seats having Jacks' name stiched in the headrest. I may get grief at shows with Roush interior and it isn't a Roush.
